FlarePoint Capital Partners

Chris Ransdell is the Founder & CEO of FlarePoint Capital Partners, a private-capital platform specializing in structured finance, SPV formation, and asset-backed investment strategies across energy, real estate, infrastructure, digital assets, and alternative investments.

With over 25 years of experience raising capital and managing capital execution across multiple industries, Chris brings a rare blend of strategic vision, operational discipline, and financial engineering. His investment philosophy is not centered on what one invests in, but rather how capital is structured and deployed, leveraging sophisticated structured-finance techniques to mitigate investor risk while extending and amplifying a project’s capital runway.

Chris leads FlarePoint’s GP-as-a-Service and “Powered by FlarePoint” model, enabling sponsors, family offices, and institutional allocators to access best-in-class deal structuring, compliance, and capital-stack optimization without the burden of building internal infrastructure.

He is actively involved in large-scale developments, including luxury real estate, energy-to-power platforms, AI-driven vertical farming, yacht-based investment vehicles, and island-scale infrastructure projects across the U.S. and the Bahamas. Chris is also the creator and host of Capital on Deck, a flagship investor experience convening allocators and fund managers aboard superyachts during major global finance events.

Known for his “shield first, sword second” philosophy, Chris prioritizes downside protection, incentive alignment, and foreclosable asset structures while still pursuing asymmetric upside for partners and investors.
