Redefining client care in business brokering.
Brandon's business brokering expertise is informed by service as a marketing professor at the TCU Neeley School of Business. Previously, he was the youngest full-time business faculty member at Johns Hopkins University and later a Clinical Assistant Professor of Integrated Marketing at New York University.
He holds four advanced degrees: Ph.D. in Communication & Information Sciences from The University of Alabama; M.S. in Management from NYU; Master of Legal Studies in Real Estate & Construction Law from the Texas A&M School of Law; and B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
Brandon's career began in U.S. Congressional lobbying for military positions and allies, leading to a private sector role in support of U.S.-allied military technology. He entered private equity through an externship with NYU in Tel Aviv. This led to Chief Marketing Officer roles in early-stage and venture-backed companies, culminating in a decade of company building, capital fundraising, and marketing advisorships.
David has facilitated over $100 million in contracts since 2015 and leads the real estate division of God Bless Retirement. His community service includes directing the Camp Bowie Public Improvement District (PID) of Fort Worth and serving on the board of directors for Camp Bowie Incorporated.
Prior to business and real estate brokering, David was ranked the number-one poker player in the world online (2008). He received numerous high-profile invitationals and international coverage, which included Time Magazine’s article, ‘Attack of the Math Brats’.
David was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and holds an advanced realtor certification from the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
Michaela has called many places home throughout her life - from the islands of Hawaii to the desert mirage city of Las Vegas. With worldly experience, Fort Worth is where her impact with GBR begins.
Prior to real estate and business brokering, Michaela worked as the understudy to the owner of one of the nation's largest apparel brands; hiring personnel and opening stores all over the country. Her time on the road opening and evaluating stores gave her perspective on efficiently executing tasks while managing broader objectives.
Michaela firmly believes that the key to every successful transaction is taking the time to carefully listen to her clients' needs. “It sounds so simple, but it is the most important part of our work,” she says.
